Discapacidades de Izarinia

Nació a los seis meses y medio, el 31 de marzo, porque su madre no pudo completar la duración del embarazo debido a complicaciones.Como consecuencia de su nacimiento prematuro, padece varias discapacidades.

Parálisis Cerebral

Dificultades para entender algunas cosas y para orientarse, por lo que no puede salir sola a ningún sitio y su familia debe ir con ella a todas partes.

Dificultad respiratoria

Respiración muy fuerte, se cansa con más facilidad y cuando se resfría, lo pasa muy mal, dando la sensación de que se esté ahogando.

Discapacidad visual

Desprendimiento de retina, incluyendo miopía, hipermetropía y astigmatismo elevados. Sólo ve por el ojo izquierdo, así que necesita llevar gafas graduadas para poder ver.

Discapacidad motora

Movilidad reducida de cintura para abajo. No puede andar, por lo que necesita utilizar una silla de ruedas para desplazarse y necesita ayuda para ponerse de pie. También tiene una enfermedad degenerativa en los músculos, acortándose con el paso del tiempo y con la imposibilidad de estirar completamente los brazos y las piernas, incluida la rotación de las muñecas.Tiene que ir a revisiones médicas cada seis meses para aliviar la espasticidad de sus músculos (que se relajen), y sólo puede permitirse fisioterapia un día a la semana, sesión que dura una hora.No puede hacer sus necesidades básicas (bañarse, levantarse, vestirse, ir al baño, tumbarse, etc.) sola, por lo que depende de ayuda de su familia para poder hacerlas; lo único que puede hacer sola es comer.En marzo de 2019, le diagnosticaron artrosis en las rodillas. Con el paso de los años, la enfermedad ha ido empeorando, y cuando le duelen, necesita estar tomando pastillas para aliviar el dolor.

Cerebral Paralysis

Difficulty understanding somethings and difficulties orienting herself, so she cannot go out alone anywhere and her family must go with her everywhere.

Breathing difficulty

Breathing heavily, gets tired more easily and when she catches a cold, she has a very bad time, giving the sensation that she is suffocating.

Visual disability

Retinal detachment, including high myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. She only sees out of her left eye, so she needs to wear prescription glasses to see.

Physical disability

Reduced mobility from the waist down. She cannot walk, so she needs to use a wheelchair to get around and needs help to stand up. She also has a degenerative condition in her muscles, shortening with the passage of time and the impossibility of stretching her arms and legs completely, including the rotation of her wrists.She has to go for check-ups every six months to relieve the spasticity of her muscles (to relax them), and she can only afford physiotherapy one day a week, a session that lasts one hour.She cannot do her basic needs (bathing, getting up, dressing, going to the bathroom, going to bed, etc.) alone, so she depends a lot from her family to be able to do them; the only thing she can do alone is to eat.In March 2019, she was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in her knees. Over the years, the condition has been getting worse, and when they hurt, she needs to be taking pills to relieve the pain.
