Discapacidades de Izarinia

Nació a los seis meses y medio, el 31 de marzo, porque su madre no pudo completar la duración del embarazo debido a complicaciones.Como consecuencia de su nacimiento prematuro, padece varias discapacidades.

Parálisis Cerebral

Dificultades para entender algunas cosas y para orientarse, por lo que no puede salir sola a ningún sitio y su familia debe ir con ella a todas partes.

Dificultad respiratoria

Respiración muy fuerte, se cansa con más facilidad y cuando se resfría, lo pasa muy mal, dando la sensación de que se esté ahogando.

Discapacidad visual

Desprendimiento de retina, incluyendo miopía, hipermetropía y astigmatismo elevados. Sólo ve por el ojo izquierdo, así que necesita llevar gafas graduadas para poder ver.

Discapacidad motora

Movilidad reducida de cintura para abajo. No puede andar, por lo que necesita utilizar una silla de ruedas para desplazarse; puede ponerse de pie, pero necesita ayuda. Retinal detachment, including high myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. She only sees out of her left eye, so she needs to wear prescription glasses to see.

Physical disability

Reduced mobility from the waist down. She cannot walk, so she needs to use a wheelchair to get around; she can stand up, but needs help. She also has a degenerative condition in her muscles, shortening with the passage of time and the impossibility of stretching her arms and legs completely, including the rotation of her wrists.She has to go for check-ups every six months to relieve the spasticity of her muscles (to relax them), and she can only afford physiotherapy one day a week, a session that lasts one hour.She cannot do her basic needs (bathing, getting up, dressing, going to the bathroom, going to bed, etc.) alone, so she depends a lot from her family to be able to do them; the only thing she can do alone is to eat.In March 2019, she was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in her knees.
